The BFH II Rear Bumper is CNC laser-cut from high strength 3/16 inch plate steel, then precision brake-formed for an exact fit. In keeping with its minimalist design parameter, the BFH II Rear Bumper has no provisions for a spare tire carrier. This bumper is intended for those hard-core wheelers who either wheel without a spare or strap the spare down into the bed of the Jeep. It may also be compatible with the OE tailgate-mounted spare tire carrier, depending on the size of the spare tire used.
High Clearance and Departure Angle
The faceted plate steel design of the JK BFH II Rear Bumper provides the Most ground/obstacle clearance and best departure angle of any JK rear bumper on the market. To achieve this, installation requires trimming the bulky rear frame rails and Stock bumper mounts. A laser-cut steel template is provided to assist with making the right cuts. These modifications include cutting into the Stock rear crossmember. At the installers discretion, the Stock rear crossmember may be plated across the open cut (materials to do this are Not included), or the crossmember removed completely.
Optional Replacement Crossmember
If the Stock crossmember is removed completely, it may be replaced with the JK BFH II Rear Crossmember (Note that there are versions of the BFH II Crossmember with or without a receiver hitch-this particular version of the BFH II Rear Bumper is specificaly designed to work with the non-receiver version-it will Not work with the crossmember that has the integrated hitch receiver (p/n 17-17-030).

Integrated Hitch Receiver
This version of the JK BFH II Rear Crossmember is designed with an integrated hitch receiver as a convenient recovery attachment or tow point. The hitch receiver is constructed of Standard 2 inch square hitch receiver material and will accept Most hitch bars. Safety chain loops are provided behind the crossmember, tucked up out of the way of rocks.Important: in order to preserve the lowest profile and maximum departure angle, the receiver tube is slightly shorter than Standard tow hitches. This may necessitate trimming of the end of some receiver bars. This also places the hitch pin into a non-Standard location for tow-rating. Because of this the hitch is Not technically rated for towing, even though its design is stronger than the factory tow hitch.

JK Body Mounted Tire Carrier Poison Spyder – 17-13-010
JK Body Mounted Tire Carrier for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2016. Poison Spyders JK Body Mounted Tire Carrier works with the Stock rear bumper or just about any aftermarket rear bumper, and can accommodate up to a 40 inch spare tire and accessories. The main tire carrier assembly is made of 1.5 inch DOM tubing for strength and great looks.
All of the plate steel components are CNC laser cut and brake-formed from 1/8 inch or 3/16 inch steel plate. The hinge and latch assemblies are designed to address common issues inherent in similar tire carriers from other manufacturers. The tire carrier comes with mounting points to add several Rot-Pax fluid packs as well as a Hi-Lift jack.

JK Brawler Full Width Front Bumper Brawler Bar Tabs for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2016. The Brawler Full Width Front Bumper for JK provides the highest ground and tire clearance possible in a Full width JK bumper. This bumper brings Poison Spyder form and function to the overlander market, and to those who would like to keep their Stock JK fender flares.
The bumper extends to the Full width of the Stock flares, to integrate with them cleanly while protecting them from trail hazards. This configuration includes recessed fog light buckets and high clearance recovery shackle tabs. Like all bumpers in the Brawler product line, the Full Width is fabricated from 3/16 inch plate steel, CNC laser-cut and precision brake-formed into a low profile, high clearance design. This product ships as bare steel. It will need to be painted or powdercoated prior to final installation. We do Not yet offer a powdercoat option for this item.

Full Width
Finally there is a Full Width front bumper that incorporates Poison Spyder attention to form and function, in an elegant package that integrates perfectly with the Stock Jeep or aftermarket Stock replacement fender flares. While this bumper was designed for those Jeep enthusiasts who prefer a more overland style and function to their Jeep build, or want to keep their factory flares, we could not simply make a Full-width monstrosity like so many unsightly bumpers already on the market. Even though it is Full width, and less likely to be used on the hard core rock trails, we still felt compelled to design it with maximum approach angle, ground clearance and tire clearance possible while still extending out to the Full width of the Stock flares to protect the corners of the Jeep.The lower skid plate is sold separately, so that those who would rather run without it (and gain even more ground clearance) may do so. The outriggers that extend to the edge of the flare are kept as tight to the original Brawler high clearance lines as possible, tapering outward toward the ends. This allows the tires the best access to grab obstacles to pull the Jeep up and over rather than impeding progress when metal meets rock. The outriggers are designed to integrate visually with the Stock fender flares, in a clean, almost factory look. The back side of the outrigger is scalloped to provide maximum clearance for up to a 37 inch tire with minimal suspension lift.
Plate Steel Construction
Every Brawler bumper starts out as a sheet of 3/16 inch plate steel. Our CNC laser cutter precisely cuts the flat pattern as designed in our 3D CAD system. Next the bumper parts are CNC brake-formed into the high clearance, multi-faceted pieces that will become a finished bumper. Highly skilled tradesmen weld each bumper together using precision-engineered assembly fixtures for a perfect fit. Finally the complete bumper is sent through our finishing department for final appearance surfacing and quality control checks.Brawler Bar
The Brawler Bar is modeled after the bar found on our original RockBrawler front bumper. It is a low-profile stinger designed to provide protection to the winch, grille and radiator area. The Brawler Bar is made of CNC laser-Notched, NC-bent 1.75 inch diameter .120 inch wall DOM tubing. The complex laser-cut Notch allows the Brawler Bar to be welded to two different planes on the surface of the bumper, providing incredible strength.The Brawler Bar is further strengthened by a pair of 1.25 inch DOM tubular gussets. Note: Warn PowerPlant winches are Not a direct fit with the DOM Tube gussets (they may be installed with some minor modifications by the installer).
Easy Installation
Poison Spyder Brawler series front bumpers can be mounted without cutting or altering the Jeep frame rails. The faceted design of the Brawler Full Width Front Bumper provides the best ground clearance and approach angle possible in a Full width bumper that does not require frame modifications. The factory Crash Bar may be left intact or removed for a sleek appearance and high clearance. If keeping the crash bar, we recommend adding the Brawler Lite Skid Plate (p/n 17-59-030, sold separately), which conceals the crash bar and protects the electronic sway bar disconnect.
Recessed Fog Lamp Mounts
Every Brawler Front Bumper comes with provisions for re-mounting your factory fog lamps. These consist of recessed fog lamp buckets that are made of CNC laser cut DUM tubing with a mounting flange designed to accept the mounting hardware of the Stock lamps. The recess and all-steel buckets help protect the lamps from the rocks. For those who do Not have the Stock fog lamps, or would like to upgrade to more powerful LED lamps, Poison Spyder offers a unique LED Fog Lamp Mounting Kit (p/n RIG-DLYFOGMNT) for installing a pair of Rigid Industries Dually LED lamps in the fog lamp locations.
Important: The Stock fog lamps used on the Jeep Wrangler 10th Anniversary Rubicon do Not fit into the fog lamp buckets on this bumper. If installing this bumper on a 10th Anniversary Rubicon, we suggest using a pair of Rigid Industries Dually or Dually D2 LED lamps along with our JK Dually Fog Lamp Mounts instead of the Stock fog lamps.
Winch Compatibility
The Brawler Full Width Front Bumper is designed to accept Most Warn winches, and winches from other manufacturers that conform to Warn Standardized winch mounting dimensions. The winch sits in a slight depression on the top surface of the bumper, with plenty of CNC laser cut plate steel gusseting inside the bumper shell, directly underneath the winch to provide maximum strength. The Winch Fairlead Mount (p/n 45-57-010) is sold separately, so that those who wish to Not run a winch are left with a clean looking, unobstructed top surface on their bumper. Important: installing the Warn Zeon winch on the Brawler Mid Front Bumper requires a set of our Zeon Winch Spacer Plates (p/n 45-57-010-03).
Recovery Shackle Tabs
Recovery Shackle Tabs are Standard equipment on the Brawler Full Width Front Bumper. These 3D CAD designed tabs are modeled after the high clearance tabs designed for our hard core BFH series bumpers, providing maximum approach angle while minimizing hang-ups on rock obstacles. They are CNC machined from 1 inch thick steel billet, specifically designed to accept our heavy duty 3/4 inch Recovery Shackles.
Optional Brawler Lite Skid
The optional Brawler Lite Skid Plate (p/n 17-59-030) attaches to the bottom of the Brawler Full Width Front Bumper to conceal and protect the Stock crash bar, plus it has an extension to protect the electronic swaybar disconnect motor found on Rubicon JKs.The skid is made of CNC laser-cut 3/16 inch plate steel, precision brake-formed for a precise fit to the Brawler Full Width Front Bumper (yes, the Brawler Lite and Brawler Full Width share the same skid plate).
A separate version of the Brawler Full Width Front Bumper is available with the DOM tubular Brawler Bar.The Brawler Full Width Front Bumper comes to you as bare steel, ready to accept paint or powdercoat in the color of your choice. Easy Installation
Poison Spyder Brawler series front bumpers can be mounted without cutting or altering the Jeep frame rails. The faceted design of the Brawler Full Width Front Bumper provides the best ground clearance and approach angle possible in a Full width bumper that doesn’t require frame modifications. The factory Crash Bar may be left intact or removed for a sleek appearance and high clearance. If keeping the crash bar, we recommend adding the Brawler Lite Skid Plate (p/n 17-59-030, sold separately), which conceals the crash bar and protects the electronic sway bar disconnect.
Recessed Fog Lamp Mounts
Every Brawler Front Bumper comes with provisions for re-mounting your factory fog lamps. These consist of recessed fog lamp buckets that are made of CNC laser cut DUM tubing with a mounting flange designed to accept the mounting hardware of the Stock lamps. The recess and all-steel buckets help protect the lamps from the rocks. For those who do Not have the Stock fog lamps, or would like to upgrade to more powerful LED lamps, Poison Spyder offers a unique LED Fog Lamp Mounting Kit (p/n RIG-DLYFOGMNT) for installing a pair of Rigid Industries Dually LED lamps in the fog lamp locations.
Important: The Stock fog lamps used on the Jeep Wrangler 10th Anniversary Rubicon do Not fit into the fog lamp buckets on this bumper. If installing this bumper on a 10th Anniversary Rubicon, we suggest using a pair of Rigid Industries Dually or Dually D2 LED lamps along with our JK Dually Fog Lamp Mounts instead of the Stock fog lamps.
Winch Compatibility
The Brawler Full Width Front Bumper is designed to accept Most Warn winches, and winches from other manufacturers that conform to Warn Standardized winch mounting dimensions. The winch sits in a slight depression on the top surface of the bumper, with plenty of CNC laser cut plate steel gusseting inside the bumper shell, directly underneath the winch to provide maximum strength. The Winch Fairlead Mount (p/n 45-57-010) is sold separately, so that those who wish to Not run a winch are left with a clean looking, unobstructed top surface on their bumper. Important: installing the Warn Zeon winch on the Brawler Mid Front Bumper requires a set of our Zeon Winch Spacer Plates (p/n 45-57-010-03).
Recovery Shackle Tabs
Recovery Shackle Tabs are Standard equipment on the Brawler Full Width Front Bumper. These 3D CAD designed tabs are modeled after the high clearance tabs designed for our hard core BFH series bumpers, providing maximum approach angle while minimizing hang-ups on rock obstacles. They are CNC machined from 1 inch thick steel billet, specifically designed to accept our heavy duty 3/4 inch Recovery Shackles.
Optional Brawler Lite Skid
The optional Brawler Lite Skid Plate (p/n 17-59-030) attaches to the bottom of the Brawler Full Width Front Bumper to conceal and protect the Stock crash bar, plus it has an extension to protect the electronic swaybar disconnect motor found on Rubicon JKs.The skid is made of CNC laser-cut 3/16 inch plate steel, precision brake-formed for a precise fit to the Brawler Full Width Front Bumper (yes, the Brawler Lite and Brawler Full Width share the same skid plate).

Single-Action Spare Tire Carrier
The Spare Tire Carrier Single-Action-Opening feature is a huge convenience for when you are trying to open the tailgate and tire carrier with one hand, when you have got an armload of gear or groceries in the other. Rather than latching to itself, the tire carrier is tethered to the tailgate so that they open and close in tandem. A custom designed tie-rod assembly, bumper mechanism and Tramp Stamp keep the two pieces perfectly aligned when open, but tight and rattle-free when closed.
Tire Carrier Plate Steel Construction
The RockBrawler II Spare Tire Carrier is fabricated entirely from CNC laser cut, precision brake-formed plate steel. The pieces are expertly welded together in a specially designed assembly fixture to ensure consistent fit and quality. A web gusset design is cut into the corner of the tire carrier to provide a little Poison Spyder flare.
Extreme Duty Hinge Assembly
The extreme duty hinge assembly includes a precision CNC machined spindle and housing, with a pair of high quality Timken tapered roller bearings to provide smooth operation under the heaviest loads A spindle seal at the bottom of the hinge assembly keeps your lubrication in, and dirt and water out. The hinge assembly is capped with a CNC machined billet aluminum cap with the Spyder emblem machined in.
2-Way Adjustable Tire Mount
The tire mount is adjustable up and down, as well as in and out, to accommodate a wide variety of tire sizes up to 39 inches. The adjust-ability allows the tire to be mounted as low as possible for any tire size, to keep a low center of gravity.
License Plate Relocation Mount
The included license plate mount places the license plate at the center of the spare tire, for those who choose to move it there. Unlike the original RockBrawler rear bumper, the RockBrawler II Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier does Not obstruct the placement of the Stock license plate frame, so the installer may choose to leave it in the Stock location or move it to the center of the rear tire using the included bracket.We recommend relocating it, as the Stock mount sticks out significantly from the side of the Jeep and is just begging to be torn off by a rock along the trail. The Brawler Lite features recessed buckets to mount the factory fog lamps, Fully protecting them in deep tubular sockets with direct-fit mounting flanges. ANother thoughtful feature are the conveniently placed loom mounting holes, for reinstalling the Christmas tree loom hangers of the factory fog lamp harness.
Important: The Stock fog lamps used on the Jeep Wrangler 10th Anniversary Rubicon do Not fit into the fog lamp buckets on this bumper. If installing this bumper on a 10th Anniversary Rubicon, we suggest using a pair of Rigid Industries Dually or Dually D2 LED lamps along with our JK Dually Fog Lamp Mounts instead of the Stock fog lamps.Any winch with a Standard 10 X 4.5 inch mounting pattern will bolt right on to the Brawler Lite. Beefy internal gusseting directly below the winch mount provides the strength to sustain long, heavy pulls. The center of the bumper, where the winch sits, is slightly recessed with the winch mounting on top, without compromising the structural integrity of the bumper by cutting a huge hole in the bumper structure to place the winch down inside like other manufacturers bumpers. If mounting a winch, you’ll need a Winch Fairlead Mount, sold separately.
Optional Recovery Shackle Tabs are modeled after the high clearance tabs designed for our hard core BFH series bumpers. These tabs are angle to provide maximum approach angle. JK Extreme Duty Trans-Mount Crossmember 07-11 Poison Spyder – 18-56-020
JK Extreme Duty Trans-Mount Crossmember 07-11. Replace your JKs weak Stock transmission crossmember with the Poison Spyder Extreme Duty Crossmember! This ultra-beefy crossmember is constructed of two pieces of CNC laser cut, precision brake-formed 3/16 inch plate steel. Check out the damaged Stock crossmember in the photos below. When getting high-centered on the rocks, with the entire 5,000+ pounds of a trail-ready JK resting entirely on the crossmember, it can tend to bend upward in the Middle, or as we say, Taco. The double-wall sides of the Poison Spyder Extreme Duty Crossmember put the extra strength where its needed Most to prevent the Taco-effectin the side walls of the crossmember.

The 3/16 inch (.188 inch thick) top plate and bottom plate provide far superior protection against dents and bends than the Stock crossmember, which is made of a piece of 1/8 inch (.125 inch thick) and 14-gauge (.083 inch thick) stamped sheetmetal. Incredibly, the Chrysler engineers decided to put the much thinner 14-gauge piece along the bottom, making it crumple at the mere sight of rocks. The steel used in the Poison Spyder crossmember is 33 percent thicker on the top plate, and 2.5 times thicker on the bottom plate. And the 3/16 inch steel plate of the Poison Spyder Extreme Duty Crossmember has brake-formed corners all the way aroundthere are no welds on the box corners.
Inside the crossmember, Poison Spyder fabricators have welded in four DOM tubing spacers to provide crush-proof strength at the crossmember mounting bolt locations. These are made of .120 inch wall DOM tubing. Compare that to the Stock crossmember, which uses stamped sheet metal spacers.
The Poison Spyder Extreme Duty Crossmember matches the external dimensions and bolt locations of the Stock crossmember. Extra-Wide
Extra-Wide Crusher Flares are designed for those Jeepers who need extra tire coverage to satisfy local laws, or who simply want to keep more dirt and mud from flinging up onto the Jeep due to wide wheels and tires. These Extra-Wide Crusher Flares measure 10.75 inches wide at the widest point (measured from the Jeep body sheet metal). Compared to the Stock plastic flares and our Standard Width Crusher Flares which both measure 8.75 inches, the Extra-Wide Crusher Flares provide an extra 2 inches of tire coverage. Not only are they wider at the top, they also stay wider toward the bottom for better mud-guard functionality. Poison Spyder also offers matching Extra-Wide Rear Crusher Flares.
Roll-Bent Outer Tubes
Poison Spyder Crusher Flares were the first all-metal armored flare on the market when the Jeep JK debuted with the 2007 model year. Using the latest technology in computer-controlled roll-benders to form these tubes results in several advantages. Construction
Aluminum JK Crusher Flares are constructed using 1.5 inch X .188 wall DOM (Drawn-Over-Mandrel) structural tubing as the outer rub rail. This DOM tubing provides better resistance to crushing, kinking, and bending than competitors flares made with thinner wall, welded seam tubing. The foundation of the Crusher Flare is a CNC laser cut, 3/16 inch thick aluminum mounting plate, precision brake-formed to conform to the subtle curves of the JKs body panels.Mounting holes are countersunk for the use of flat-head stainless steel mounting hardware. The top plate is CNC laser cut 1/8 inch aluminum plate, which is hand formed around the curves of the Crusher Flare for a factory appearance that matches the JKs organic body lines better than any other aftermarket metal flare
Exclusive Inner Brace Set
Every set of Poison Spyder JK Crusher Flares comes with a set of inner braces that tie the Crusher Flare in to the sturdier, heavier-gauge steel of the JKs inner body tub structure. Competitors JK Flare products simply bolt directly to the outer layer of the JKs body sheet metal. But as any JK owner knows, the exterior sheet metal is very thin and flexible. Simply bolting a heavy duty fender directly to the exterior sheet metal without the inner bracing is a disaster waiting to happen. Regardless of how sturdy the flare is built, upon contact with rocks, trees, etc., it will simply push in and deform the flimsy sheet metal it is bolted to, possibly causing expensive and unsightly damage.The Inner Brace Set that comes with Poison Spyder Crusher Flares effectively bypasses the outer sheet metal, instead transferring those forces to the much stronger inner structure of the Jeep. Thats why weve been able to demonstrate the strength of our flare attachment system by parking aNother Jeep on top of the Crusher Flare! These Inner Braces are CNC laser cut, brake-formed for a great fit and simple installation.
Rubber Liners Included
JK Front Crusher Flares come with high quality rubber liners to place between the Crusher Flare and the Jeep body sheet metal during installation. The rubber liners provide help protect your Jeep exterior paint, where the flare contacts it. It also helps even out the contact area of the Crusher Flare, absorbing any small bumps or imperfections between the mated surfaces. The rubber liner also helps keep moisture, dirt and debris from collecting between the Crusher Flare and the Jeep body. These liners are cut from premium EPDM rubber.
Optional Aluminum Inner Fenders
When installing Poison Spyder JK Front Crusher Flares you have the option of installing Poison Spyders JK Inner Fenders (sold separately) or retaining the factory wheel well liner to protect the engine from trail and road debris. Poison Spyder JK Inner Fenders dress up the look of your front wheel wells with beautiful CNC laser cut, bead-rolled and brake-formed aluminum. They are the perfect complement to Poison Spyder Crusher Flares. Retaining the factory plastic wheel well liner is possible with some trimming, so Crusher Corners come with hardware and mounting brackets to re-install the trimmed Stock wheel well liners. Provisions for LED Marker Lamps.
The JK Front Crusher Flare kit comes Standard with mounting provisions to replace the factory side marker with a high intensity 3/4 inch round LED marker light. The addition of the LED provides a more modern and refined look that complements the function and style of the Crusher Flare.
Steel or Aluminum?
Not sure whether to choose steel or aluminum for your Crusher Flares? Aluminum is lighter in weight, so might be the best choice for those looking to save weight on their heavy JKs in order to improve fuel mileage and gain an advantage off-road. However, when wheeling with aluminum flares it is up to the driver to use more care and finesse, as the aluminum components are Not going to be able to withstand the same direct impacts that steel can.
The outer tube on our aluminum Crusher Flares is beefy .188 wall thickness. Compared to our steel Crusher Flares which use .120 wall DOM steel tubing.
The thicker tube wall recoups some of the strength lost by going to aluminum, however the steel versions will still be stronger in a direct impact with the rocks. For reference, a steel JK Front Crusher Flare weighs 31.6 lbs (Not including hardware), while an aluminum one weighs only 11.8 lbs.
