Restoration at Godspeed means more than a fresh coat of paint. We go as deep as the vehicle needs — from partial rebuilds that address specific systems to complete frame-off restorations where every bolt is removed, inspected, and replaced or restored.
Our team brings a manufacturing engineering mindset to every restoration. We understand how these vehicles were built at the factory, which means we know exactly how to take them apart and put them back together properly. Combined with 26 years of hands-on automotive experience in our shop, every restoration gets the attention to detail it deserves.
Vehicles We Restore
We specialize in classic off-road vehicles that were built to last — and deserve to keep going.
Jeep CJ-5 & CJ-7
The original trail machines. We restore CJs from rust-bucket barn finds to trail-ready icons. Frame repair, tub restoration, modern suspension, upgraded drivetrain, and new wiring harnesses.
Jeep YJ & TJ Wrangler
The square-headlight YJ and round-headlight TJ are the sweet spot — old enough to have character, new enough to be practical. We restore and upgrade suspension, drivetrain, interior, and electrical systems.
Early Ford Bronco (1966–1977)
The classic Bronco market has exploded, and so has demand for quality restorations. We do frame-off rebuilds with modern running gear, upgraded suspension, and interior restoration.
Toyota Land Cruiser
FJ40s, FJ60s, and FJ80s — Toyota’s legendary off-road platform. These vehicles are bulletproof when properly maintained, and a full restoration can give them another 30 years of reliable service.
Our Restoration Process
Every restoration starts with a thorough inspection and ends with a vehicle that’s better than it was the day it left the factory.
Inspection & Planning
We go over every inch of the vehicle, document what needs work, and build a detailed scope and budget. No surprises — you know exactly what you’re getting before we start.
Disassembly & Repair
Frame-off if needed. Every component is removed, cataloged, and inspected. Rust is cut out and replaced with fresh metal. The frame is cleaned, coated, and prepped for reassembly.
Build & Reassembly
New or rebuilt components go back on. Suspension, drivetrain, electrical, brakes, interior — everything assembled to spec with proper torque values and verified connections.
Modern Upgrades
Want modern reliability? We install upgraded suspension, disc brake conversions, modern wiring harnesses, LED lighting, fuel injection conversions, and more.
Testing & Tuning
Every restoration gets a thorough shakedown. Road testing, leak checks, electrical verification, alignment, and brake testing before we hand you the keys.
Delivery & Documentation
You get your vehicle back with a complete build sheet documenting every part, every spec, and every upgrade. Plus a full photo record of the entire restoration process.
Restoration Investment
Every restoration is unique, but here’s what to expect:
Partial Restoration: Targeted rebuild of specific systems — suspension overhaul, drivetrain refresh, brake upgrade, electrical rewire. Ideal for vehicles in solid condition that need specific attention.
Full Restoration: Comprehensive rebuild of all major systems. Frame inspection and repair, complete suspension, rebuilt or upgraded drivetrain, new brakes, electrical, and interior refresh.
Frame-Off Restoration: Complete disassembly. Frame stripped and coated, rust repair, body restoration, all new components. The vehicle is essentially rebuilt from the ground up. Resto-mod upgrades (modern drivetrain, fuel injection, A/C) add to the investment.
We provide a detailed quote before any work begins, and we stay in communication throughout the build with regular progress updates and photos.
