Ford Bronco Lift Kits & Custom Builds — Sarasota, FL

The sixth-generation Ford Bronco brought serious off-road capability back to the market, and the aftermarket responded fast. Godspeed Off-Road in Sarasota builds both 2-door and 4-door Broncos for everything from beach cruising on Siesta Key to technical trail running. The Bronco’s independent front suspension, solid rear axle, and available Sasquatch package give it a unique position in the off-road world — more refined than a Wrangler on pavement, with genuine capability when the road ends. We carry the parts, know the platform, and build Broncos that match your vision.

Bronco Lift Kits & Suspension

The Bronco’s hybrid suspension — independent front, solid rear axle — requires a lift approach that addresses both ends differently. Up front, you’re working with coilovers, upper control arms, and CV axle angles. Out back, it’s a traditional coil-sprung solid axle with trailing arms and a Panhard bar. Getting both ends right so the Bronco tracks straight, rides well, and delivers improved clearance is where our experience shows.

2-Inch Leveling & Mild Lift

The most popular starting point for Bronco owners. A 2-inch lift clears 35-inch tires on most configurations and improves approach angle without changing the Bronco’s confident highway manners. Icon and Bilstein both offer bolt-on kits in this range that work with the factory HOSS (High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension) system on Badlands and Wildtrak trims.

3 – 4 Inch Suspension Lift

This range opens the door to 37-inch tires and substantially improved ground clearance. At this height, upgraded upper control arms are non-negotiable — the factory arms run out of travel and put stress on ball joints and CV axles. RPG Offroad, Icon, and BDS Suspension make kits specifically engineered for the Bronco’s geometry at this lift height. We recommend this range for owners who want a Bronco that’s ready for anything Florida’s trails throw at it while still being a comfortable daily driver.

Re-Gearing Your Bronco

The sixth-gen Bronco comes with relatively aggressive factory gearing — 4.70:1 in most configurations — which handles 35-inch tires well enough. But step up to 37s or 38s, and the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 or 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder starts running out of breath. The 10-speed automatic has enough ratios to mask it at first, but you’ll feel it on hills, merging, and especially when towing.

Gear Ratio Recommendations

35-inch tires: Factory 4.70 gears work fine. No re-gear needed for most driving.

37-inch tires: 4.88 gears bring the drivetrain back into balance. This is the most common Bronco re-gear we do.

38-inch tires and larger: 5.13 gears. At this tire size, the re-gear investment pays for itself in recovered drivability and fuel economy.

The Bronco uses a Dana 44 rear axle (or Dana 50 on Sasquatch) and a Dana 44 IFS front. We re-gear both axles with new bearings, seals, and verified contact patterns. Learn more about re-gearing →

Wheels, Tires & Accessories

The Bronco runs a 6×5.5 bolt pattern, and the wheel market for this platform has exploded since launch. Method 305, KMC Bully, and Fuel Zephyr are among the most popular choices we see. Tire sizing follows the same principles as any off-road platform — 35s are the sweet spot for a mildly lifted Bronco, 37s for a seriously built one. BFGoodrich KO2, Nitto Ridge Grappler, and Toyo Open Country AT III are the tires we install most frequently on Broncos.

Bronco-specific accessories have matured rapidly. We install steel and aluminum bumpers from Warn and Go Rhino, rock sliders from Bronco Offroad and RPG Offroad, roof racks from Prinsu and Front Runner, and skid plate systems that protect the oil pan, transmission, and transfer case. Modular hardtop and soft top conversions, tube door kits, and mirror relocation brackets are part of the Bronco-specific work we do regularly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a Ford Bronco lift kit cost?

A quality Bronco lift ranges from $1,200 for a leveling kit to $5,000+ for a full 3-inch+ suspension system with upper control arms. The investment depends on lift height, brand, and whether you need additional components like extended sway bar links or replacement shocks. We present tiered options for every build.

Can you fit 37-inch tires on a Bronco?

Yes. With a 3-inch or greater lift, upgraded upper control arms, and the right wheel offset, 37s fit cleanly. Sasquatch-equipped Broncos with factory 35s only need a modest lift and wheel spacers. We test-fit every combination before mounting to ensure zero rub under full articulation.

Does the Bronco need re-gearing with bigger tires?

Factory 4.70 gears handle 35s well. At 37 inches, a re-gear to 4.88 makes a significant difference in throttle response and transmission behavior. At 38+, 5.13 gears are the right call. More on re-gearing →

What Bronco accessories do you install?

Bumpers, rock sliders, roof racks, winches, lighting, onboard air, skid plates, tube doors, modular top conversions, auxiliary switch panels, and interior storage systems. The Bronco aftermarket has matured fast, and we stay current with the best options available.
