DIY Rico Step Kit 45.25 inch. The DIY Rico Step Kit from Poison Spyder allows the do-it-yourselfer to add a heavy duty rub rail and entry step to the Stock Jeep JK Rubicon rocker rails, Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers or other aftermarket plate steel rocker armor.
The components provided in the kit are similar to Poison Spyder Ricochet Rockers, hence the name of the kit.
The kit includes:

• DOM tube rub rails
• Rico Steps and end gussets

The DOM tube pieces are CNC bent and pre-Notched, ready to weld on. The Rico Steps and gussets are laser cut from plate steel. The steps are brake-formed to provide extra strength and reverse-dimpled for foot traction.
The main tubes measure 45.25 inches long and the kit was designed specifically for the TJ, YJ and CJ-7, but might possibly be used on other vehicles if it fits. Requires welding.

DIY Slider Tube Kit 39.5 inches. The DIY Slider Tube Kit from Poison Spyder allows the do-it-yourselfer to add a rugged DOM tube slider to Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers or other aftermarket plate steel rocker armor.
The kit includes:

• The slider tubes as well as the short tube supports to brace the center of the tube against the rocker, to do both sides of the Jeep

The DOM slider tube pieces are CNC bent and pre-Notched to mount at an angle, as with our ready-built Rocker Knockers with Sliders.
The main tubes measure 39.5 inches long and the kit was designed specifically for the Jeep CJ-5, but might possibly be used on other vehicles if it fits. Requires welding.

JK 2-Dr Body Armor (Steel) for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2016. Poison Spyder JK Body Armor is recommended equipment for any JK venturing into off road situations where body damage is eminent. JK Body Armor protects the thin factory sheet metal with rugged, precision-fit 3/16 inch plate steel or aluminum.

Used by itself, JK Body Armor hugs the Jeep body contours to provide protection with no loss of ground clearance. Used with the factory Rubicon rocker rails, the JK Body Armor helps prevent trail damage that can be caused by rocks pushing the factory rocker rails up into the body. JK Body Armor is manufactured from either 3/16 inch high pressure steel plate or 3/16 inch 6061-T6 aluminum plate. Steel is preferred where the JK Body Armor will be installed by itself, without Rocker Knockers or other rocker panel protection. Aluminum is recommended where Rocker Knockers, the Stock Rubicon rocker rails or other rocker panel protection will also be used. The aluminum pieces are much lighter weight (27 lbs. lighter for the 4-door versions), yet still provide excellent load distribution characteristics when used as a secondary barrier in conjunction with external rocker rails. Both steel and aluminum versions may be painted or powdercoated prior to installation, but only the aluminum ones may be installed raw without any protective coating. They may also be polished or clear-coated at the installers discretion. Both steel and aluminum parts are CNC-laser cut and precision brake-formed for a precise fit to the unique contours of the JK body. Bolt holes are countersunk, and stainless steel flat head cap screws are supplied for a clean, flush-surface installation.

Drilling of the body is required for installation.
JK Body Armor is shipped in bare, unfinished metal. You will need to paint or powdercoat prior to final installation.

Note: Installation of this product includes drilling and installing 1/4-20 nut-serts. We provide a rudimentary tool in the kit for installing the nut-serts, however it can be tedious and frustrating to use. If you are going to be installing several products that require the use of nut-serts, you may find it worth the expense to purchase a Professional Nut-Sert Installation Tool. Also, the drill size required for this, 25/64 inch.

Poison Spyder offers a precisely-cut rubber liner to install between the Body Armor and the factory sheet metal. Although the Body Armor can be mounted without the liner, this additional component adds protection from debris collecting between the Body Armor while protecting your Jeep factory sheet metal and paint. The rubber liner is cut to match the lines of the Body Armor perfectly – no cutting or trimming is required. Liners are sold separately and do Not automatically come with the Body Armor kits.

Brawler Rockers are two-piece mini-boatside style rocker armor. Each component is fabricated entirely of CNC-laser cut, precision brake-formed 3/16 inch plate steel. The upper piece fits the lower section of your Jeep exterior sheet metal like a glove, conforming to the subtle curvature of the JK and providing protection similar to Poison Spyder JK Body Armor.

The lower piece incorporates an extremely strong rub rail that protrudes about 3.25 inches outboard of the Jeep body tub. The top surface of the rub rail may also serve as an entry step. Below, the brake-formed 3/16 inch plate steel angles down and inward to form a high clearance boatside for sliding off of rocks and obstacles. Inside, an array of beefy 3/16 inch thick internal gussets provide ultimate strength to the Brawler Rocker.

Oval lightning holes along the length of the boatside section provide great Poison Spyder looks while allowing access to hose out mud and debris after a day on the trail. The ends of the Brawler Rockers are capped in the same 3/16 inch plate steel, in angled facets that allow up to a 40 inch tire and visually integrate with the lines of Poison Spyder front and rear JK Crusher Flares.
The upper piece attaches to the body tube using supplied stainless steel flat-head cap screws and nut-serts.

The lower piece attaches to the upper piece also with stainless steel flat-head cap screws and easy-to-install clip-nuts. All fastener holes are countersunk for a flat surface using the flat-head hardware. Underneath, the lower piece attaches at the Jeep body mounts. Attaching the Brawler Rockers in this way, along several different planes, provides triangulated strength to the entire assembly. The body-mount tie-ins ensure that they are securely integrated to the strongest structural component of the Jeep the frame while also allowing the Brawler Rocker to hug the body tub as closely as possible.

Please Note that Brawler Rockers are Not compatible with body lifts.
Brawler Rockers are designed to handle a serious beating! They Not only provide unmatched rocker protection, but they also provide a super strong pivot point which can help you to maneuver through tight obstacles. The boatside design will allow the Jeep to slide off of rocks and back onto the center of the trail.

The protruding rub rail keeps vertical obstructions such as trees and rock walls a safe distance from the Jeep doors and other vulnerable body parts. And when you need to change a tire or perform an extraction, the Brawler Rocker provides a strong, convenient lifting point for your Hi-Lift jack.

This product ships as bare steel. It will need to be painted or powdercoated prior to final installation. We do Not offer a powdercoat option for this item. Note that if you have previously installed Poison Spyder JK Body Armor, you will be able to re-use the existing nut-serts, saving a significant amount of installation time (Body Armor will have to be removed).

Poison Spyder JK Rocker Knockers are engineered for brute strength and impact resistance by attaching to the Jeep body in 14 strategic bolt locations. The mounting plate is CNC laser cut from 3/16 inch plate steel and precision brake-formed for a perfect fit. The tubular rocker rail is rugged 1.75 inch X .120 wall DOM structural tubing. The slider rail is fabricated from CNC-bent 1.5 inch X .120 wall DOM tubing. The space between the Slider and the main tube of the Rocker Knocker is filled with a CNC laser-cut Slider Skid.

The Skid features the Poison Spyder exclusive oval dimples for structural strength as well as great Poison Spyder looks. The Skid attaches with countersunk stainless steel flat head cap screws for a flush surface. The Slider and Skid mount at an angle to the main tube of the Rocker Knocker to provide boatside-like protection from the rocks while keeping the Jeep doors and body a safe distance from higher level trail hazards.

ANother quality element of the Poison Spyder Rocker Knocker is the ability to remove the outer slider skid. The outer skid is built from 1/8 inch steel and is secured to a 3/16 inch base plate welded into the slider hoop assembly. The Slider does Not rely on the skid for structure. The advantage of having the ability to remove the skid, is to allow you to replace it if it becomes damaged to a level that it has lost its aesthetic appearance or functionality. Also you will be able to customize the Sliders to match your Jeep, and to easily be able to remove it for re-finish.
Poison Spyder JK Rocker Knockers are compatible with all known suspensions and body lifts, including long arm kits. Because the Rocker Knockers mount directly to the Jeep body tub, they will lift with the body when a body lift is installed (competitors’ frame-mounted rocker guards may leave a gap on body-lifted vehicles). As an added attribute the Rocker Knocker mounting plate is designed with drain reliefs to discourage debris from collecting in the lower body cavity.
