DIY Slider Tube Kit 44.25 inch. The DIY Slider Tube Kit from Poison Spyder allows the do-it-yourselfer to add a rugged DOM tube slider to Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers or other aftermarket plate steel rocker armor.
The kit includes:
- The slider tubes as well as the short tube supports to brace the center of the tube against the rocker, to do both sides of the Jeep.
The DOM slider tube pieces are CNC bent and pre-Notched to mount at an angle, as with our ready-built Rocker Knockers with Sliders.
The main tubes measure 44.25 inches long and the kit was designed specifically for the Jeep TJ, YJ and CJ-7, but might possibly be used on other vehicles if it fits. Requires welding.

Poison Spyder JK Rocker Knockers are engineered for brute strength and impact resistance by attaching to the Jeep body in 14 strategic bolt locations. The mounting plate is CNC laser cut from 3/16 inch plate steel and precision brake-formed for a perfect fit. The tubular rocker rail is rugged 1.75 inch X .120 wall DOM structural tubing. The slider rail is fabricated from CNC-bent 1.5 inch X .120 wall DOM tubing. The space between the Slider and the main tube of the Rocker Knocker is filled with a CNC laser-cut Slider Skid.
The Skid features the Poison Spyder exclusive oval dimples for structural strength as well as great Poison Spyder looks. The Skid attaches with countersunk stainless steel flat head cap screws for a flush surface. The Slider and Skid mount at an angle to the main tube of the Rocker Knocker to provide boatside-like protection from the rocks while keeping the Jeep doors and body a safe distance from higher level trail hazards.
ANother quality element of the Poison Spyder Rocker Knocker is the ability to remove the outer slider skid. The outer skid is built from 1/8 inch steel and is secured to a 3/16 inch base plate welded into the slider hoop assembly. The Slider does Not rely on the skid for structure. The advantage of having the ability to remove the skid, is to allow you to replace it if it becomes damaged to a level that it has lost its aesthetic appearance or functionality. Also you will be able to customize the Sliders to match your Jeep, and to easily be able to remove it for re-finish.
Poison Spyder JK Rocker Knockers are compatible with all known suspensions and body lifts, including long arm kits. Because the Rocker Knockers mount directly to the Jeep body tub, they will lift with the body when a body lift is installed (competitors’ frame-mounted rocker guards may leave a gap on body-lifted vehicles). As an added attribute the Rocker Knocker mounting plate is designed with drain reliefs to discourage debris from collecting in the lower body cavity.This product ships as bare steel. It will need to be painted or powdercoated prior to final installation. We do Not offer a powdercoat option for this item.
Poison Spyder JK Rocker Knockers can be utilized as a stand alone component or can be used in conjunction with Poison Spyders JK Body Armor. JK Body Armor is a secondary line of defense against off road damage to your Jeep, protecting the Jeep by reaching above the Slider level up to the door line. JK 4-Dr Rubber Body Armor Liners for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2016. Poison Spyder offers a precisely-cut rubber liner to install between the JK Body Armor and the factory sheet metal. Although the Body Armor can be mounted without the liner, this additional component adds protection from debris collecting between the Body Armor while protecting your Jeep factory sheet metal and paint.
The rubber liner is cut to match the lines of the Body Armor perfectly no cutting or trimming is required.
Liners are sold separately and do Not automatically come with the Body Armor kits.

JK 4-Dr Brawler Rockers (Steel) for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2016. Jeep JKs, especially the long wheelbase 4-door Unlimited, are extremely vulnerable to rocker armor damage on the trail. Poison Spyder Brawler Rockers provide the ultimate rocker armor protection while actually enhancing your Jeep off-road capability Not to mention they look bad-ass!

Brawler Rockers are two-piece mini-boatside style rocker armor. Each component is fabricated entirely of CNC-laser cut, precision brake-formed 3/16 inch plate steel. The upper piece fits the lower section of your Jeep exterior sheet metal like a glove, conforming to the subtle curvature of the JK and providing protection similar to Poison Spyder JK Body Armor. The lower piece incorporates an extremely strong rub rail that protrudes about 3.25 inch outboard of the Jeep body tub.
The top surface of the rub rail may also serve as an entry step. Below, the brake-formed 3/16 inch plate steel angles down and inward to form a high clearance boatside for sliding off of rocks and obstacles. Inside, an array of beefy 3/16 inch thick internal gussets provide ultimate strength to the Brawler Rocker. Oval lightning holes along the length of the boatside section provide great Poison Spyder looks while allowing access to hose out mud and debris after a day on the trail. The ends of the Brawler Rockers are capped in the same 3/16 inch plate steel, in angled facets that allow up to a 40 inch tire and visually integrate with the lines of Poison Spyder front and rear JK Crusher Flares.
The upper piece attaches to the body tube using supplied stainless steel flat-head cap screws and nut-serts. The lower piece attaches to the upper piece also with stainless steel flat-head cap screws and easy-to-install clip-nuts. All fastener holes are countersunk for a flat surface using the flat-head hardware. Underneath, the lower piece attaches at the Jeep body mounts. Attaching the Brawler Rockers in this way, along several different planes, provides triangulated strength to the entire assembly. The body-mount tie-ins ensure that they are securely integrated to the strongest structural component of the Jeepthe framewhile also allowing the Brawler Rocker to hug the body tub as closely as possible. Please Note that Brawler Rockers are Not compatible with body lifts.
Brawler Rockers are designed to handle a serious beating! They Not only provide unmatched rocker protection, but they also provide a super strong pivot point which can help you to maneuver through tight obstacles. The boatside design will allow the Jeep to slide off of rocks and back onto the center of the trail. The protruding rub rail keeps vertical obstructions such as trees and rock walls a safe distance from the Jeep doors and other vulnerable body parts. And when you need to change a tire or perform an extraction, the Brawler Rocker provides a strong, convenient lifting point for your Hi-Lift jack.
Brawler Rockers ship as bare steel, allowing you to paint or powdercoat in the color of your choice. Note that if you have previously installed Poison Spyder JK Body Armor, you will be able to re-use the existing nut-serts, saving a significant amount of installation time (Body Armor will have to be removed).
