DV8 Off Road truck bumpers are built with abuse in mind. DV8 bumpers are tested and proven in the desert, heavy off road recovery, and utility. DV8 bumpers are made from 3/16 cold rolled steel with 1/4 inch plus gusseting and mounting points. Every DV8 truck bumper comes with DV8’s exclusive wrinkled 20 step powder coat.
This finish looks great, is extremely durable, and is highly UV resistant. DV8 bumpers are 100 percent bolt on and include DV8’s 2 year warranty against manufacturer defects. The Brawler Full Width Rear Bumper Lights Tabs for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2016 provides the highest ground and tire clearance possible in a Full width JK rear bumper. This bumper brings Poison Spyder form and function to the overlander market, and to those who would like to keep their Stock JK fender flares. The bumper extends to the Full width of the Stock flares, to integrate with them cleanly while protecting them from trail hazards.
This configuration includes high clearance recovery shackle tabs and a receiver hitch. Finally there is a Full Width front bumper that incorporates Poison Spyder attention to form and function, in an elegant package that integrates perfectly with the Stock Jeep or aftermarket Stock replacement fender flares. While this bumper was designed for those Jeep enthusiasts who prefer a more overland style and function to their Jeep build, or want to keep their factory flares, we could Not simply make a Full-width monstrosity like so many unsightly bumpers already on the market.Even though it is Full width, and less likely to be used on the hard core rock trails, we still felt compelled to design it with maximum approach angle, ground clearance and tire clearance possible while still extending out to the Full width of the Stock flares to protect the corners of the Jeep.
The outriggers that extend to the edge of the flare are kept as tight to the original Brawler high clearance lines as possible, tapering outward toward the ends. This allows the best departure angles possible in a Full width rear bumper, minimizing the chances of hanging up as the rear tire comes off a rock or ledge. The outriggers are designed to integrate visually with the Stock fender flares, in a clean, almost factory look.
Bumper Plate Steel Construction
Every Brawler bumper starts out as a sheet of 3/16 inch plate steel. Our CNC laser cutter precisely cuts the flat pattern as designed in our 3D CAD system. Next the bumper parts are CNC brake-formed into the high clearance, multi-faceted pieces that will become a finished bumper. Highly skilled tradesmen weld each bumper together using precision-engineered assembly fixtures for a perfect fit. Finally the complete bumper is sent through our finishing department for final appearance surfacing and quality control checks.
Integrated Hitch Receiver
The integrated hitch receiver accepts Standard 2 inch hitches and recovery accessories. It is built in to the structure of the Brawler Full Width Rear Bumper in order to provide a higher clearance, tougher hitch that is there when you need it, but tucked up higher out of the way for better clearance and departure angles on the trail. Includes integrated safety chain loops.Important: The integrated hitch receiver is Not rated for towing. It is intended as a recovery attachment point only.
Rock Solid Mounting
The JK Brawler Full Width Rear Bumper incorporates an extra set of mounting bolts, along the bottom of the bumper which fasten into the rear crossmember. Combined with the mounting flange bolts at either side, the bumper is rigidly fastened by a total of 8 Grade 8 bolts, on three different planes to provide ultimate strength and rigidity to the mounted bumper. The drivers side floating flange allows for safe, secure tightening to the Jeep frame rails regardless of manufacturing variances from the Jeep factory.
Recovery Shackle Tabs
The Heavy Duty Recovery Shackle Tabs are CNC machined from 1 inch thick steel billet, specifically designed to accept our Heavy Duty 3/4 inch Recovery Shackles. These tabs are designed to match the high clearance aspects of the rest of the bumper and minimized hang-ups. JK BFH II Rear Bumper Receiver Tabs Lights for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2016. Poison Spyder BFH II Rear Bumpers are designed for those hardcore four-wheelers who value strength, simplicity and function. This bumper was literally Built For the Hammers with the best ground clearance and departure angle possible. It is no wider than the Jeep JK Wrangler rear body tub, with angled facets to improve its ability to slide over the rocks while still protecting the corner of the tub from drop-offs and ledges.
This version of the BFH II features CNC machined high clearance recovery shackle tabs. For the ultimate in strength and durability, pair it with the JK BFH II Rear Crossmember.

Plate Steel Construction
The BFH II Rear Bumper is CNC laser-cut from high strength 3/16 inch plate steel, then precision brake-formed for an exact fit. In keeping with its minimalist design parameter, the BFH II Rear Bumper has no provisions for a spare tire carrier. This bumper is intended for those hard-core wheelers who either wheel without a spare or strap the spare down into the bed of the Jeep. It may also be compatible with the OE tailgate-mounted spare tire carrier, depending on the size of the spare tire used.
High Clearance and Departure Angle
The faceted plate steel design of the JK BFH II Rear Bumper provides the Most ground/obstacle clearance and best departure angle of any JK rear bumper on the market. To achieve this, installation requires trimming the bulky rear frame rails and Stock bumper mounts. A laser-cut steel template is provided to assist with making the right cuts. These modifications include cutting into the Stock rear crossmember. At the installers discretion, the Stock rear crossmember may be plated across the open cut (materials to do this are Not included), or the crossmember removed completely.
Optional Replacement Crossmember
If the Stock crossmember is removed completely, it may be replaced with the JK BFH II Rear Crossmember (Note that there are versions of the BFH II Crossmember with or without a receiver hitch-this particular version of the BFH II Rear Bumper is specificaly designed to work with the non-receiver version-it will Not work with the crossmember that has the integrated hitch receiver (p/n 17-17-030).
High Clearance Shackle Tabs
The JK BFH II Rear Bumper includes heavy duty, high clearance Recovery Shackle Tabs. These tabs were CAD designed specifically for use with this bumper, with a high-clearance design to minimize loss of departure angle and to handle sliding off of rocks rather than hanging up on them. The tabs are CNC machined from 1 inch thick plate steel to provide a secure attachment point for 3/4 inch recovery shackles (sold separately).Notes: Installation requires cutting of Stock frame rails! Please read through the Installation Instructions so that you are Fully aware of the modifications required to your Jeep frame rails, before purchasing. RockBrawler Hi-Lift Jack Mount for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2016. This accessory makes it easy to mount a Hi-Lift jack to your Poison Spyder RockBrawler Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier. The mount plate is CNC laser cut from 3/16 inch plate steel, with an unmistakable Spyder web design. The plate bolts to the top of the tire carrier using the supplied Grade 8 hardware.
Your Hi-Lift jack attaches to the mount plate with a pair of heavy duty 1/2 inch carriage bolts with urethane isolator bushings. We provide both wing nuts and nylock nuts so you can choose which to use to fasten your Jack to the mount. The RockBrawler Hi-Lift Jack Mount comes bare steel so you may paint or powdercoat in the color of your choice.
Important: This product is designed for use with the RockBrawler Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier. If you have a RockBrawler II Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier, you need our Rock Brawler II Hi-Lift Jack Mount instead.

Recessed Back-Up Lamps
Very few JK rear bumpers come with provisions for mounting backup lamps. Of those that do, fewer still allow the use of high intensity, low power drawing LED lamps. The RockBrawler Rear Bumper recessed light buckets accept 2.5 inch Round, Clear LED Lamps, the same backup lamps we have sold with our Crusher Corners.The recessed buckets protect them from the rocks and direct light rearward rather than into the bumper interior, the way some competitor bracket-mounted lamps do. Customers may choose to wire them into the reverse light circuit, or wire them to a separate dash switch as a loading or utility light. Important: Note that the LED Lamps do Not come with this bumper, they must be purchased separately.
Works with Existing Equipment
The RockBrawler Rear Bumper is designed to work with your existing OE tow hitch. Unlike the integrated hitches found on competitor bumpers, the OE hitch is designed for and safely rated for towing. And best of all, its easily removable. So those who need a sturdy hitch for towing can still use the Stock one, while those who need the extra clearance for hard core off-roading can easily remove it.The RockBrawler Rear Bumper has a built-in step/recess to provide easy access to the rear of the Jeep as well as clearance for the spare tire. This bumper may be used with the Stock spare tire carrier and up to a 35 inch tire.
