JK 2-Dr Brawler Rockers (Steel) Black for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2016. Jeep JKs are extremely vulnerable to rocker armor damage on the trail. Brawler Rockers are two-piece mini-boatside style rocker armor which protects your Jeep body panels while functioning as a slider, pivot and entry step. This part number is for the all steel version which is perfect for those Jeeps that spend a lot of time in the Big rocks (an aluminum version is also available).

Rugged Steel Plate Construction
Each Brawler Rocker component is fabricated entirely of CNC-laser cut, precision brake-formed 3/16 inch plate steel. The upper piece attaches to the body tube using supplied stainless steel flat-head cap screws and nut-serts. The lower piece attaches to the upper piece also with stainless steel flat-head cap screws and easy-to-install clip-nuts. Inside, an array of beefy 3/16 inch thick internal gussets provide ultimate strength to the Brawler Rocker. All fastener holes are countersunk for a flat surface using the flat-head hardware. Oval lightning holes along the length of the boatside section provide great Poison Spyder looks while allowing access to hose out mud and debris after a day on the trail. The ends of the Brawler Rockers are capped in the same 3/16 inch plate steel, in angled facets that allow up to a 40 inch tire and visually integrate with the lines of Poison Spyder front and rear JK Crusher Flares.
SpyderShell Armor Coat
SpyderShell is more than just powdercoating, its a complete system that includes the state of the art in preparation, application, materials and packaging to ensure that your SpyderShell products stay looking great for years. The SpyderShell process has been engineered to provide your Poison Spyder product with years of unmatched great looks, corrosion protection and weather-resistance. Our proprietary 6-stage system starts with media blasting the entire part, to remove contaminants and prep the metal surface for the best possible adhesion. Next, any seams are sealed with 3M Scotch-Weld to block moisture from entering and causing corrosion where the powder can Not reach. The first coat to be applied is a zinc-rich powdered black primer, which is baked on to form an impenetrable bond between the metal product and the coating. The primer is black, rather than traditional gray-so that any rock chips or trail damage are less conspicuous.

The final top coat is an industrial grade, super-durable architectural finish in semi-gloss black, which is engineered to retain its appearance through years of exposure to sun and weather. SpyderShell is a coating process unmatched by any other Jeep armor aftermarket manufacturer, for which we are confident in offering a 5-year warranty on materials and workmanship.
2-Piece Design
The upper piece of the Brawler Rocker assembly fits the rocker panel section of your Jeep exterior sheet metal like a glove, conforming to the sublte curvature of the JK and providing protection similar to Poison Spyder JK Body Armor. The lower piece incorporates an extremely strong rub rail that protrudes about 3.25 inches outboard of the Jeep body tub. The top surface of the rub rail may also serve as an entry step. Below, the brake-formed 3/16 inch plate steel angles down and inward to form a high clearance boatside for sliding off of rocks and obstacles. The lower piece attaches at the Jeep body mounts. Attaching the Brawler Rockers in this way, along several different planes, provides triangulated strength to the entire assembly. The body-mount tie-ins ensure that they are securely integrated to the strongest structural component of the Jeep the frame while also allowing the Brawler Rocker to hug the body tub as closely as possible. Please Note that Brawler Rockers are Not compatible with body lifts.
