JK BFH II Rear Bumper Tabs for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2016. Poison Spyder BFH II Rear Bumpers are designed for those hardcore four-wheelers who value strength, simplicity and function. This bumper was literally Built For the Hammers with the best ground clearance and departure angle possible. It is no wider than the Jeep JK Wrangler rear body tub, with angled facets to improve its ability to slide over the rocks while still protecting the corner of the tub from drop-offs and ledges.

This version of the BFH II features CNC machined high clearance recovery shackle tabs. For the ultimate in strength and durability, pair it with the JK BFH II Rear Crossmember.

Plate Steel Construction
The BFH II Rear Bumper is CNC laser-cut from high strength 3/16 and plate steel, then precision brake-formed for an exact fit. In keeping with its minimalist design parameter, the BFH II Rear Bumper has no provisions for a spare tire carrier. This bumper is intended for those hard-core wheelers who either wheel without a spare or strap the spare down into the bed of the Jeep. It may also be compatible with the OE tailgate-mounted spare tire carrier, depending on the size of the spare tire used.
High Clearance & Departure Angle
The faceted plate steel design of the JK BFH II Rear Bumper provides the Most ground/obstacle clearance and best departure angle of any JK rear bumper on the market. To achieve this, installation requires trimming the bulky rear frame rails and Stock bumper mounts. A laser-cut steel template is provided to assist with making the right cuts. These modifications include cutting into the Stock rear crossmember. At the installer discretion, the Stock rear crossmember may be plated across the open cut (materials to do this are Not included), or the crossmember removed completely.
Optional Replacement Crossmember
If the Stock crossmember is removed completely, it may be replaced with the JK BFH II Rear Crossmember (Note that there are versions of the BFH II Crossmember with or without a receiver hitch-this particular version of the BFH II Rear Bumper is specificaly designed to work with the non-receiver version-it will Not work with the crossmember that has the integrated hitch receiver (p/n 17-17-030).
High Clearance Shackle Tabs
The JK BFH II Rear Bumper includes heavy duty, high clearance Recovery Shackle Tabs. These tabs were CAD designed specifically for use with this bumper, with a high-clearance design to minimize loss of departure angle and to handle sliding off of rocks rather than hanging up on them. The tabs are CNC machined from 1 inch thick plate steel to provide a secure attachment point for 3/4 inch recovery shackles (sold separately).

This product ships as bare steel it will need to be painted or powdercoated prior to final installation. We do Not offer a powdercoat option for this item.

RockBrawler Hi-Lift Jack Mount for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2016. This accessory makes it easy to mount a Hi-Lift jack to your Poison Spyder RockBrawler Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier. The mount plate is CNC laser cut from 3/16 inch plate steel, with an unmistakable Spyder web design. The plate bolts to the top of the tire carrier using the supplied Grade 8 hardware.

Your Hi-Lift jack attaches to the mount plate with a pair of heavy duty 1/2 inch carriage bolts with urethane isolator bushings. We provide both wing nuts and nylock nuts so you can choose which to use to fasten your Jack to the mount. The RockBrawler Hi-Lift Jack Mount comes bare steel so you may paint or powdercoat in the color of your choice.
Important: This product is designed for use with the RockBrawler Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier. If you have a RockBrawler II Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier, you need our Rock Brawler II Hi-Lift Jack Mount instead.

JK BFH II Rear Crossmember for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2016. By itself or used in conjunction with the JK BFH II Rear Bumper, this Built For the Hammers crossmember strengthens the Jeep JK Wrangler rear frame when trimmed for maximum ground clearance and departure angle.

The BFH II Rear Crossmember is CNC laser-cut from high strength 3/16 inch plate steel, then precision brake-formed for an exact fit. Dimpled lighting holes remove unnecessary weight while creating a custom look for those who choose to run the crossmember by itself without a rear bumper to cover it.

Use By Itself or With BFH II Rear Bumper

The BFH II Rear Crossmember may be used by itself as an ultra-minimalist, high clearance rear bumper. But it is designed to be used with the Poison Spyder BFH II Rear Bumper. The bumper fits over the crossmember like a glove. Together, this combination provides the frame-strengthening characteristics of the crossmember along with the aesthetics of the BFH II Rear Bumper. This specific part number for the crossmember does Not include an integrated hitch receiver, so it can only be used with the K BFH II Rear Bumper – Tabs or K BFH II Rear Bumper – Tabs – Lights. A different version of the BFH II Crossmember is available with a hitch receiver (p/n 17-17-030)
