Aries 3036571 ActionTrac Powered Running Boards for 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door
The ActionTrac Powered Running Boards by Aries Automotive are designed with the off road adventure in mind. Manufactured from lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum, these running boards are very durable and non-corrosive. The unique design of the step pair is a patented step within a step application which makes entry and exit from the Wrangler JL very easy, especially with lifted vehicles. The powdered steps will automatically deploy and retract with the opening and closing of the doors. A built in LED light will operate when the steps are deployed that will light up the entire step area for safety at night. The control module for the steps can detect any obstructions that may be in the way which will prevent any potential injures while the steps deploy or retract. Finished with a durable carbide black powder coating, these steps will offer the maximum corrosion protection that is available. All of the necessary hardware and wiring is included which makes for a hassle free installation with no drilling or modifications to the vehicle. The ActionTrack Running Boards are made specifically for the Wrangler JL 4 Door.
Unique & Functional: The ActionTrac Running Board pair offer innovative design that gives full side protection for the Wrangler JL 4 Door. The integrated step has a non-skid surface that contours to the side of the Jeep, giving an upgraded and sleek look. The Steps are strong, and have a static load rating of 650lbs.
Automatic & Safe Operation: The Running Boards will automatically deploy when the doors are opened and will extend 15 inches from the doorsill(8 inches from the top step). The two step design makes for an easier and safer way to enter and exit the vehicle. The ActionTrac running boards are timed with a two second delay, which stops the steps from opening or closing too quickly when the doors are closed. When deployed, a built in LED light on both sides will activate and provide bright lighting for the steps. This is very innovative and helpful in low visibility.
Ease of Installation: Mounting the Running Boards is a simple DIY task. Installation will use factory mounting locations that require no drilling or modifications to the Wrangler JL vehicle. All of the necessary hardware and wiring are included with nothing else to purchase.
