The brushed and zinc-plated, clear coated body is nitrogen gas pressurized to eliminate performance-robbing cavitation during compression and rebound. This allows the shock to dissipate heat more efficiently.

AEV 2.5″ DualSport XT Suspension System for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
AEV’s DualSport 2.5-Inch XT Suspension System was designed to appeal to Jeep JK Wrangler owners who want the added highway and trail performance of AEV’s taller 3.5 and 4.5-inch DualSport Systems, but with a reduced lift height. As with AEV’s 3.5 and 4.5-inch systems, painstaking attention was paid to tuning and geometry in the new system. Not content to simply borrow the same spring rates and shock valving of the taller systems, AEV set out to specially tune coils and shocks that are unique to the needs of the new, lower system. The result is new frequency-tuned, triple-rate coils at all four corners and custom-tuned Bilstein shocks matched to the coils.
Check out the optional AEV ProCAL Module, a great finishing touch to any lift kit as it can reprogram your vehicles computer compensating for gear ratio and tire size changes after lift kit installation not to mention many other additional features.

ICON 2018 JEEP JL WRANGLER 2.5″ STAGE 1 SUSPENSION SYSTEM
ICON Vehicle Dynamics is excited to provide a sneak-peek into the development of a 2.5” suspension system for the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL. Aimed at drastically improving (not just maintaining) on and off-road ride quality this system includes dual rate coil springs, 2.0 Aluminum Series shocks, link arms, front and rear bump stops, sway bar end links, and all necessary hardware for a complete install. The JL is a much more “refined” vehicle compared to previous Wranglers, and with improved suspension geometry and more robust components this new Jeep sees significant performance gains with the introduction of ICON suspension products.
DESCRIPTION
Through an accelerated testing process dubbed the “ICON1K” R&D program, ICON has logged over a thousand miles in the dirt pushing the JL to off-road extremes to identify limiting factors in OE components, develop products that remove these limits, and further extrapolate performance out of this vehicle. This 2.5” suspension system has been tweaked, tuned, and revised several times over the course of this ICON1K testing in an effort to provide unparalleled ride quality and vehicle dynamics for everything from rock crawling to high-speed desert running. By removing the aforementioned “limiting factors” this ICON suspension system completely redefines the potential of the 2018-UP Jeep JL with wheel travel gains over 30%!
This ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2.5” suspension system will allow for the use of a 35” tire, while ICON Alloys offers wheels in both a 4.5” and 4.75” backspace that provides ideal fitment for the varying axle widths found on Rubicon and non-Rubicon models. For those who are looking to install a 37” tire, ICON will be offering a bump stop spacer kit that allows for this as well. Additional ICON JL components are currently in development, so be sure to keep your eyes out for an official release on the COMPLETE 2.5″ suspension system lineup in the coming weeks!
